what the hell?  | |  so you guys know I left my husband a few weeks back. Well I connect with an old guy friend. Just that, a friend. He calls me on Friday and we edn up going out. He had moved to AZ and just got back about 7 months ago. We go out and get drunk. I didn't flirt with him or vice versa. So next day he sends me a text saying he wanted to kiss me. I don't know what to say so I didn't respond. Then later he texts again asking why I didn't reply. I replied saying I didn't know what to say. He says "Whatever". I tell him that I am still married and I have to focus on myself and my daughter. He says he is looking for someone to date not someone who wants to hangout. So I say. wtf, I thought we were friends? He says that he hasn't talked to me in how long so how are we friends? I just don't get it. He didn't respond after that. I really don't know why he is being an a$$ about it.

He is acting this way because he thought that you don't like your husband anymore so yeh, he is taking this oppurtunity to get you. I think you should make it clear and simple. I don't know why you left your husband but since you told your friend that you still have one, maybe you should go back to him or just move on if it's defenitive.

I have reconnected with friends after several months not talking to them or seeing them for a year or so. But we still consider each other friends and wouldn't just jump to kissing if one of us had feelings for the other.
