Whats the big deal about religion?  | |  Every religion says "I am the truth",blah blah blah,and so many believers have testimonies of how good their god is to them and its via their God that they are successful.but what about the atheist and how successful they have become just by putting their minds to what they want. I believe that it is up to us to make something happen and not by any God or Gods. do you believe there is something behind creation,life and death? or every thing came to existence via evolution?

Even the worst moral offenders may seem to have it made here on earth but the proof will be in how well they fare at the judgment bar of God. Does the atheist have faith? You betcha! Their's is a belief system that requires the most extreme faith imaginable. They have to believe that something, came from nothing and they have to believe that random matter, (which they can not explain the origin of), produced mind. Evolution fails because at it's simplest level it can not account for the creation of matter, (already noted above). Theology depends on truth and truth can only be, "Absolute Truth." Moral relativism is a sham because it always reverts to, "I may not be perfect, but I'm better than you." Since we are designed to live forever, either in eternal bliss or eternal condemnation, Religion is a VERY BIG DEAL!
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but through me." NO ONE! The eternal life is assured for everyone, the only question is one of... LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

 jojuana (125) | 1 month ago | I do know that there is someone behind creation,my point is the bible says "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth..." he created man and woman Adam and Eve,but Hinduism says that Brahma created Manu and from Manu's head came the Bramins,from his arm came the Kaitriyas,his leg the Voisias,and his feet the Sudras(i'm not sure about the spellings). I think religion is source of identity. yes i do believe in the Christians way because i grew up that way i am just creating a controversy. And i am not easily persuaded by other religion but these are some question that people ask from day to day. thanks for your input. | |
