I go to watch them with my friends when they are released. If it is a movie that you are excited about waiting can bring about some bad results. You might see some spoilers of the movie or something like that lol.

I prefer viewing them at the cinema first if I can. I rarely buy DVDs, and haven't hired one in years, and I have an unlimited pass for the cinema, so the more films I see, the better value for money it is.

I don't go to the movies at all. I can wait for them to come out on PPV(Paid Preview). Most of the time once a movie has come out and then put on DVD the next thing will come on PPV. But not til the movie has been out on DVD. I can wait for that. I have seen most of the new movies that have come out. Like Rambo, Bucket List, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Things we lost in the fire, Todd Sweeney, Live free or Die Hard, The new Alien vs Preditor movie. Just to name some of them off of the top of my head.

well depnding on how good the movie seems. and if it seems like a pretty decent movie or has really good ratings i'd prefer to watch ot at a cinema. All the rest i wait til they are released. I think it's a lot nicer to sit around in your pajamas and eat microwave popcprn while watching a pretty crappy movie.=)

I prefer to wait until they're released to video so that I can watch them at home. It ends up being much, much, much cheaper than going to see them in the theatre, and the theatre is usually a less-than-pleasant experience with people talking, babies crying, etc. Watching them at home allows me to eat what I'd like, take breaks, and watch in my PJs, if I want! There are two of us and I'd much rather spend the $20 in tickets (not counting concessions!) to see one a movie in a theatre on buying a DVD to have forever.

I will go to the movies maybe 1-2 times a year...so most of my movie watching happens at home. I have found that with my cable company (Comcast) I get movies on demand. All the free ones are older movies that I haven't seen in quite a long time. But the newer ones you pay for (about $4.99) tend to be less than paying for gas, heading to the video store, plus the rental cost. So if we want to watch a newer movie in my house, we'll use On Demand from Comcast. Thanks for the post:D

When i was still single, i used to watch movies in cinemas especially if i really like the movie. I don't wait it to be released at home. I want to see it first hand so i wouldn't be left behind if people are talking about the movies. And, i watched movies with my friends and my bf (now my husband). But, when i became a mother, i seldom go to cinemas anymore coz i lack time and i can't bring my baby at the theater...so right now, i just wait for the dvd releases and watch it over and over at home together with my family. It serves a bonding experience as well.

I've been to pretty much every movie this summer. I love the summer time! Every week seems to have a new and exciting movie and to me there is no substitute for watching them in theaters. I especially love going to the theaters on a hot summer day and getting out of the heat for two hours. I have two movies to watch this week. Hellboy II and The Dark Night. I can't wait.

I rarely go to the moviehouse these days. Not only because the ticket prices are a little steep, plus the food sold are exorbitantly expensive, I get easily distracted by noisy watchers. Although I have to admit I did go to see Twilight in the movie house with some friends, and tue enough, I laughed more at the audience's reaction than anything else.

Normally, though I prefer to watch movies at home. I hve a Netflix subscription and that adequately take care of whatever flicks I feel like seeing. So, yes, in the final end, I prefer to watch movies in the comfort of home, with my own popcorn, and no distracting other people around.
