A man who was caught breaking into a house was arrested after a woman called her husband and he hurried home and was able to call the police but wehn he got home he stopped the man and got him to talk to him, well he kept him talking long enough until the police got there and arrested him,

from what the article says he was pretty intoxicated, I thought the idea of burglary was to get in and out, makes me wonder if he needed to be drunk to sum up the courage to rob places

No matter he had outstanding warrants, and is currently charged with burglary of a habitation and burglary of a vehicle,

Do you have any stories of a person who stopped to rob someone and chatted with someone long enough to get caught instead of making a getaway?

i never heard such things like that till now...i guess this man doesn't have any intention to rob or he is not that willed to rob and break in to that house..if so he will never stop to chat with the house owner he just robbed..
