Does having a computer save you money?

You and I think the same. Owning a computer does save us money.

I just left the store where I used $19 in coupond for things that were on sale. I saved 50% of my total bill and it was all because I looked up the local store online and did what the list told me to do. I also come home and log what I buy, then I get points that I can trade in for cash. It is all by computer. When I figure it all out I am making about $20 when I am trying to and it is all the computer. I guess it is all by what we do with the computer and how bad we want to do it. We are a one income family so I do all I can. I would love to relax a bit more though.

I didn't even think about all those coupons. I got tons of rebate and freebies online too. There is also the bits of money I make from mylot.

I live with my mom and she pays the bills. I'm sure we could save a lot more but were all so busy. I usually work 6 days a week. So I try to relax and do something social on my day off.

I think I could still do a lot of coupons without my computer but it would be so much work that I would never really do it. Im part Scottish to so maybe that is why I work the coupons so hard too. Lol.

Yup its totally the Scott in you! My Nana Murphy was so cheap that she would pick up the tip someone would leave on the table at a restaurant(only from her table). Still!!! Thats terrible.. I would never go that far. But I'm all down for coupons.

Save.ca is my favorite site... .most are for americans though.

I needed a stamp a while ago and I had no idea where all my stamps were. I use them very seldom too.

That is neat to be able to compare like that. My Hubby and I are on one income so if we had seperate money I would be on the losing end of things. I can only assume I am doing something that is saving us money.

And just how much it simplifys life is worth it to me. Time is money right. So if I can save my time I am saving my money.

You are so right. All of my family is a long distance call away so we use email and instant messaging to keep in touch. It has saved me a ton in the past years. I love technology.

Hey happythoughts, what a relief to have a happy message. I'm bogged down in personal attacks instead of a discussion. Helpppp!... I am from Ireland but live in Germany. To me technology is a lifeline. It's amazing how much has changed in the 9 years I have been here. Even the flights are cheaper because they are booked online. I LOVE TECHNOLOGY TOO:-)

I used to be a member of a ton of PTC sites and I got down about them a bit. There have been so many sites that went down or quit paying after a while and I felt like I lost so much time and effort to earn there. I still do a few but not like I used to.

You cant say enough good things about freebies! Id love to be able to say that half my income comes from online. I clean my Moms house and she feels like she needs to pay me so that is where most of the money I make is. It is a total of $100 a month for 1 to 2 days a week of cleaning, and I can take my kids and know they are safe. My Hubby is the money in our family and I am the Mom. It works out okay but it is hard to watch the economy get worse and know that we are in a one income family. It is getting harder and harder to do what we feel like is right for us.

We do get a few magazines, but they are the ones we have founds a great deal for online.

I understand, and many two income families are struggling now, too. Part of it is because working costs so much. Not only childcare, but clothing, transportation and higher food costs. Sometimes, it's not worth it to bring in a second income. The best thing is to keep finding more ways to save and stretch the money you have.

I subscribe to a couple of magazines, too, but I used to subscribe to a half dozen or more. That makes a difference!

Yah,I sure dont when it comes to stocks. I wish I were able to live off it and travel. I love to travel but life gets in the way.
