Casual Affair

He looked in my eyes and saw the fear
Slowly from my eyes rolled the tears
I could not handle the pain anymore
It ended with the slamming of the door

He could tell I knew about the casual affair
The letters she wrote were scattered everywhere
On the table laid the pictures they took
My heart beat, my hands shook

He kneeled down on his knees
Tried to beg, cry and plea
Nothing he said could erase the pain
Our relationship would never be the same

The flashing of the red and blue lights
Made me realize what I did tonight
He took my heart, crushed it in two
I took his life at a quarter till two
