Do you prefer to be hated because of being yourself...

I would rather be notoriously hated for the rest of my life than being what everyone else wants me to be for the rest of my life. It's probably more fun to be hated that to be fake around everyone:p At least you would be an individual in the situation and there really wouldn't be any confidence or guilt issues.

.. for me, I wanted to be loved for who I am rather than to be loved for whom I pretend to be.. atleast, if people will admire me because of who I am, I know they're the kind of person I could count on.. they are not plastic.. they are true.. It's hard for me try to be someone else whom I am not.. I don't also like people who keeps on hiding their true identity as a person.. Everybody is unique and each has his weaknesses.. nobody is perfect.. so I'd rather accept who I am and accept people also of who they are..

I was just having this conversation with a friend earlier today. I used to be "fake" just to be accepted. It took me years to realize that I would NEVER be able to make everyone happy so I started with myself and realized I liked myself just the way I was and now that I and God have transformed my life I like who I am and the people that once knew the "phony" me like me more now and the ones that don't well.. obviously they are not around anymore. So I now do prefer to be hated for being myself than to be "loved" in a hypocritical way.
