Try the "St. Ives" brand. I had a hard time finding one that worked for me too.

The best lotion I found was from Beauti Control, it is a home party deal but their lotion DOES WORK.

The best one I have found that is worth every penny is Keri! If you can't find it where you live... check out eBay!

what about vasiline intensive care replenishing moisturiser with aloevera?? i used that while i was in hospital which is terribly drying for skin and it is unreal...goodluck

actually...constant use of baby oil has made my sisters skin cracked and dry. She uses it for sunbaking and now when she doesnt use it her skin is like crocodile skin. so she keeps applying it and its an endless circle. i think that u should try at least sorboline (maybe one with vitamin e) rather that baby oil.

Either sorbolene cream, which is great and very cheap and is much less likely to irratate your skin, or also aloe vera gel can be good.

You could try to use the Olay Ribbons body wash. That is what I use and I don't have to put lotion on after my shower. When I do need lotion, I use the Olay Quench body lotion.

I found a really good lotion by gold bond called Ultimate Healing. It may be a little pricey, but for how awful my skin is, it is the only lotion I have found that actually works. Also for another point, my baby has a dry skin condition and it has really been the best thing for him too...even after all the creams that they gave him that lotion has been the best.

It leaves your skin not only moisturised, but extremely soft.

I once read somewhere that baby oil contains mineral oil, which is almost toxic because it has been processed and reprocessed many times. Anyway, we have done away with lotion here at home and now use virgin coconut oil as an alternative to lotion. High-grade VCO made using the cold-press method has almost negligible moisture content, therefore, it has no water. It is water, which is the always the first ingredient in labels of lotions, that makes the skin dry. Initially, when absorbed by the skin, it will cause it to expand thereby stretching it and making the skin smooth. But once it evaporates then the skin will contract, giving it the wrinkled and dry look. VCO has anti-oxidants, vitamin E (tocopherol) and is anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. It will help if you take it as a food supplement, too, but using it on your skin will be just as beneficial.
