Would you let her go? |
|
We have a small fence that goes around our house and our door. You have to open the fence in order to get to the front door. Now whenever someone comes, they have to open the fence but our dogs are always there to give the hint, "dont just barge in" Some woman came barging through our fence in such a rude way and comes right up to me and asks me, "how do I get to the interstate?" How rude! I had my dog next to me so I was holding on to her. But should I have? The question is: Would you let her go? If I would have let her go, she may have bitten the woman. But, on the other hand, the woman was trustpassing and had no right to barge in. What do you think?

| ke7fxb (26) | 6 months ago | Thats a good point, before the woman left I told her to not let the dog out and she said I was rude and she didn't care! Maybe I will have to get a padlock if this happens anymore. Thanks for your response and you have a good night too:)

3. indianpedi (1160) | 6 months ago | Well, I would inform her that she's lucky I have my dog on a leash or else she'd have been attacked, and would caution her to be more careful and not just barge into people's gardens just like that! But I'd also tell her the information she wanted to know, perhaps she was just high-strung and having a 'bad moment', after all, how do you know. She wanted to get somewhere in a hurry perhaps and had to just suspend her manners. In case it wasn't so, the precuationary words might help her to correct her behaviour in future!

| ke7fxb (26) | 6 months ago | I agree, plus I have forgiven her for that because sometimes people have bad days and they just aren't thinking right. Maybe if she had sat down for a moment to think about if just busting in was the right thing, this would not have happen. This is the first time this has happened so I don't think I will be worried yet:) Thanks for your response!
