Do the ghost hunters really believe?

Since I have never met them in person I have no way of knowing if they are just putting on a show or if they really believe in the existence of spirits. I would like to think that SciFi had finally put on something worthy of some form of respect, but after all it is television, so who knows.

I think they really do believe and are trying to find science to explain it. They did this for many years before the show ever happened for free for people. If they did not believe, they would probably have charged for their services.

Personally...I love to watch those shows on the Sci Fi channel. I think that they do believe that something exists. However they go into each house, hospital, castle or whatever it is that they are to investigate looking to find other reasons for the "paranormal" activity. In some cases they have been able to find reasons behind the lights or sounds. In other cases they have been unable to determine a cause other then "ghosts".
I would love to go along with a group of them...yeah even though I'm horribly afraid of the dark. I suppose in my case it would be confronting my fears. I'm afraid of ghosts too. My girls still to this day claim to see my mom. But my mom knew me well enough to know that she would scare the crap out of me should she show herself to me. BUT I'm absolutely fascinated my ghosts.

I think they do believe in ghosts. At least I know for sure Jason and Grant do. Jason has mentioned a few times before that the reason he founded TAPS was due to his first paranormal experience in 1990.
