1. anonymili (2503) | 2 months ago | I tend to salt food whilst cooking - hubby and I have the same taste in saltiness (if you know what I mean) - we do like a lot of salt but we're both over 40 and know that too much salt is bad for you so we limit how much salt we cook with and if necessary add a touch more whilst eating:)

3. guybrush (1400) | 2 months ago | My husband and I both use a lot of salt! I put a bit in whilst I'm cooking, but we both use a fair bit on our plates. And we keep a salt shaker in the glovebox of the car, because if we get fish'n'chips at the beach we like to add more than they give us in the shop!

pinks17 (351) | 2 months ago | Thank you so much my friend...I learned that through my great grandmother..Asthma actually runs in the family and we are actually allergic to a lot of food..So I seldom eat chicken.I only eat the wing part. But rubbing the chicken with rock salt...if you have it then please try it..then wash it after. We actually have a native language term for that slimy thing which I can't translate in english though. But it will work. And another thing for the fish...you can actually salt the inside of the fish so that when you eat it ... inside the fish meat...there's a flavor.I don't know if you also practise it in US.;p

10. huswyf (757) | 2 months ago | I rarely salt when cooking and hardly ever on the plate either. If I'm using a stock cube or something like canned beans in a recipe there's usually salt in there and no need to add more. I find a lot of food that hasn't been home cooked to be overly salty and once you stop using so much yourself your really notice it when you eat outside the home (fast food is probably the worst, often the ONLY thing I can taste is salt which is why I rarely have any).
