 For the few months that I've been here in Mylot, I've spent a lot of time here and never had any regrets, and really, I still don't. However, thanks to one of my closest friends, I now have a new addiction, in addition to Mylot.
My friend gave me a link to an online game called Tribal Wars. This is a game where you build a village, and fight other villages to take them over. Obviously, there's a lot more involved in it, you have to be careful of your resources so you don't run out, which means upgrading to higher levels as the resources become available, which enables you to get more resources per hour and so on.
You can also start up a Tribe, and invite other players near you to join, or if you get an invitation, you can join a different tribe. I signed up for a free account two days ago, and well, lets just say that in between watching the building process, and posting on Mylot, I didn't get a whole lot done yesterday lol.
I was never one much for online games. I have Settlers for the PC and it's pretty much along the same sort of lines, so I'm comfortable in using it and learning about the different things that you can do.
My Question is this. How many of you have signed up for a free online game, not expecting to think anything much of it, and then found yourselves totally hooked? Are you a gamer that spends a lot of time playing games? (I'd usually say no, but yesterday threw that theory out the window!) Or are you one of those that prefers not to play online games at all?

But the good thing with me is I get bored of them just as fast as I got addicted, so that is a good thing I guess! If I was paid to play it then that would be a whole different story!

Some one told me about pogo.com, and I've gotten hooked. I play for the weekly badges until I have completed them and then play whatever else to kill time and earn tokens. I don't usually play too many on-line games, but this is fun. I just have to remember when it is time to go to bed. Sometimes it is 6am before I realize it is so late.
Playing games is quite relaxing for me after my swing shift hours. I just can't seem to go to sleep since my body is so wound up. This helps.

Nowadays I don't play in there. A lot of the people I played with have gone their own ways and things seem to be a little dull compared to what they used to be like. Maybe I'll poke my head in there sometime and see whats happening. | |

It's only a couple of dollars here and there and easily paid for with my Mylot earnings - but I think I'm going to hang on a while longer till I really have a feel for it, see how things go.
Mylot is my first addiction too lol. I have a lot of friends here and it's nice to see people sharing their views and opinions. | |
