Do you get cranky after your monthly visitor or right before......  | |  I don't get the regular PMS crankiness, mine comes right after I am done with my cycle, I turn into a raging jerk. is this called AMS? I don't know, and I don't know why this happens. Ok, input is appreciated.:)

But, I think I was cranky due to the fact that I had not had one in six months(I am twice your age) and thought that maybe it was finally all over with.
I also noticed a few years ago that instead of wanting chocolate before and during my cycle, I wanted salty snacks.
Maybe your chemistry is changing, getting your body ready for that phase of your life?

I take a plain cheddar cracker, one of those Reese's peanut butter bites, the little ball ones, and eat them together.
Actually, I didn't check to see where you are from but, the cheddar jack cheese crackers and the peanut butter balls are REALLY good together.

| | | 3. nerdytina (1916) | 6 months ago |  I'm still in the PMS mode, though it hasn't really been a big issue for the last few months. But sometimes, 3-4 days before the visit I'm either angry or sad or both within a span of 10 minutes. Not to mention bloated.
I've never heard of it happening afterwards. Maybe your body needs more iron afterwards, though I've also never heard of iron deficiency causing people to be raging jerks.

I don't really know. I get bloated too right before. My husband never believed me about bloating and not being able to button your pants until he saw the midol commercial..lol | |
