Do you get your salary in cheque or transferred to your bank account?

Hey there my friend! In all of the companies I've been to, it's usually transferred immediately to our ATM. The company provides us the ATM cards so it would be more seamless during payday. I really liked it since in my previous work, they are usually 4-8 hours earlier than the actual payday. It goes into the account the night before and we're on the night shift so some get theirs during the wee hours of the night.

It would be harder, I think, to have a check since most probably you'll get caught up with the queue at the bank. And there may be a possibility it won't clear immediately. I just hope my new job has the same process in giving out our pay. Take care!

Ever since I started working the pay method was kept the same - bank transaction. Actually I believe in most countries people will establish that way of paying, because it's the easiest. However, working over internet can lead you to the many companies who will prefer to pay using cheque.

I work online and I get checks in my mailbox and transfer my paypal money also to the bank. When I used to work outside of the home, I had it both ways also. Sometimes the company I worked for, would transfer or deposit my funds in my bank and other times I would have to cash or deposit my check myself.

When I was working, we will get a cash just in our Company!
My husband on the other hand, it will be transferred in our his account!I know that these is the most common nowadays!

ok, to this thread, it is just a direct credit to my bank account, where i have my account. I have an option in my office to get salary in cheque also.

before when i'm still new to the company, i'm receiving cheque. but now that i'm already on there system, i get my salary on my bank account.. i'm just receiving cheques if i have to replenish my petty cash in the office or getting my incentive every christmas hehehe..

I really miss the time I was receiving my salary. The last time I did was 7 months ago. We would just withdraw our money every 15th and 30th of the month thru ATM. So, mine was bank transfer.

i get my salary credited into my bank account. here where i am most of the companies are doing that. it's so much easier and convenient for all involved. only very small companies are still using cheque to pay salary. i like it this way as it saves me a trip to the bank. i also can do internet banking and pay all my bills the minute my salary is credited. win win for all of us. cheers;p

I get my SSI directly deposited, it's safer that way. I do not trust the mail system to get it to me on time...Lori

I'm not employed at the moment but when I was I had it direct deposit. It was so much easier not having to go to the bank every week.
