I am in a band. I have been in a band since the beginning of a year. The name of my band is called "Tempted Dream" and we are symphonic rock crossed into opera, jazz, blues, and soul genres. We are a very original band and we do some covers, but not many. I write a lot of the music, as I create melodies and harmonies for the songs, while doing some composing for the band. It is a lot of fun. We are still practicing and working on so much, so we haven't had many gigs yet.
I am curious to know, how many of you are in band? If so, what is the name of your band and what kind of music do you play?

My friend from my summer camp knew some kids that go to his school who had a band, but were still looking for one more person. I auditioned for lead guitar and I made it! The band's other guitarist and I switch from lead and rhythm, though, so that we will both have the limelight, if you will. We don't have a band name as of yet, but we are trying and experiencing new things as musicians. Our genres range from punk to rock, but we also might try some funk as well. We have written some songs and covered others, so we are showing steady progress as a band.
We have 5 members in our band (Drummer, Bassist, Rhythm, Lead, Vocalist/Rhythm). I'm the Lead guitarist that switches with the Rhythm guitarist, but he says he loves to play chords a lot, so the band lets him decide when he wants to play lead parts. Our vocalist can also play Rhythm or the keyboard if necessary.
The only bad quality our band has is that we only practice once a weekend and since it's summer, we all have vacations. Therefore, practice is usually hard to get in.

we've been playing pop jazz when we got disbanded.. Good luck to your carreer!!

I am the only girl in a 6 member band,and we named it after an accident in our very first practice. The bass's strap broke and fell exactly on the jack's cord making it cut off. We named oue band Brokenwire. I love this band so much!
