which do you prefer branded things or not?

I prefer brand name things but they are generally expensive. I tned ot buy irregulars if I buy brand names becasue that is the way to save a few bucks.
I dont have a status thing but like you say brand name is usually better quality.

I would go for something that is branded. I agree, there is less risk of it not having a good quality. It isn't 100% though. There are branded stuff such as clothes that sneaked its way. I had a pants once and the pocket easily tore. In any case, it is safer to buy them. I also go for the long use instead of just using things for a short period of time and then buy again.

However, I also buy non-branded stuff. With the current situation in the economy and my financial situation, it would be impractical to always buy branded ones. But if I really want something branded that is expensive, I'd save for it. But if there's choice between branded or not and it isn't expensive, I'd choose branded. see 'ya!

Sometimes I buy branded items, sometimes just the regular stuff. Everything actually depends on my mood and when I see something I like, the price and/or brand doesn't really matter.

I prefer brand name stuff but they are too expensive so I am stuck with generic. Some generic is just as good as brand name. My sister will not buy generic no matter how much cheaper it is. She wasn't brought up to be that picky but that is how she is and her kids are the same way. With the rising cost of food, we are stuck with generic.:)

well i don't really go for branded things. i mean i do buy branded stuff. but i didn't buy it because it is branded. i only buy from certain brands which is known for quality. certain brands that are know for design are totally out for me. i don't mind spending a bit more but i want them to last. really last as in the same bag for the next three years or the same watch for the rest of my life.;p

I don't find that branded items are any better quality than unbranded. you can tell the quality by examining them closely, and I've seen some very poor quality branded products before. and they've usually got a big ugly logo on them somewhere, purely to show everyone who sees it that it's by a particular brand, which I find ugly and vulgar.

I just look at the quality and price of an item, and if I think the quality is worth the price, and I like it, then I'd consider buying it. that's more important than who made it.

Those are the same reasons I like branded things. There are only two places I shop at for clothes which carry their own brand. I'm not sure how popular they are or not but I have been pretty satisfied with them.
