Snakes, I hate snakes.  | |  No, I don't really hate snakes, but I bet this in Maine woman will after what happened to her. She was doing laundry and went to open the washer, the clothes started moving. Turned out to be an 8 Ft. Python sitting in her laundry. It is a non-venomous snake but still, I would be creeped out. My washer is the basement so it would be extra creepy for me. If you want to read the story the link is below:

One of the last times I encountered a snake I was openging the bulk head door of my basement. When I opened the door a baby black snack was sitting between the door and window proofing. I was not amused and I screamed. Since then it seems like almost everytime I go for a walk in the woods, I see a snake. It's like they are mocking me for being afrard of their friend. I know that is not true but it sure fees like some sort of karmic joke.

 barrudaki (857) | 1 month ago | Oddly enough I am not scared of pet snakes. When I was younger I had a few friends that had pet snakes and I did not fear them. I think it's because in a way I didn't consider them wild, although they are an animal and should always be considered unpredictable.
A lot of my fears come from encountering snakes in the wild. I have encountered venomous ones and non-venomous ones. It's the surprise factor that gets me. | |
