why hotel always reserve better level & view for smoking rooms?

It seems that it is OK to be rude to smokers these days.

There is hardly anywhere inside a smoker can smoke these days. Businesses, bars, restrants (sp) aren't given a choice if they want to be smoking or non smoking. They are now all non smoking and that's it. Even outside places ban it.

People will start fake coughing and flapping their arms if they even see anyone smoking inside or out. I've seen people do this even at distances of 10 meters or more from the smoker. It's just darn rude.

i think smoker can come to Asia countries nowadays, hahahah, not much restrictions here....hahha, oppps, non smoker in asian countries will like 2 kill me i think:p but still, no matter smoker or non smoker, v just need to learn to respect each other...

hahaha, i dun discriminate smoker, coz 98% of my friends & families r smoker, just that b considerate to non-smoker, coz it's really a hard time for non-smoker when they r in the same rooms with smoker, like in the Karaoke, disco or pub etc...my hair easily attached with the smell of cigarette, after the gathering at those place i mentioned, i m in dillemma that whether i shud wash my hair b4 sleep, but it's in the middle of the night & i m so sleepy that time...and, at first if my friend smoke in front of me, i will cough non-stop, now seems addicted to it...hahhaha, so i'm consider second hand smoker, and i always joke to my friends, becoz of them, i will die earlier, so pls send me flower:p i think why non-smoker so hate abt the smoker is that it's really affect their health, if someone put on a stink perfume, u won't b poisoned & fainted immediately right?hahhahah, however, however, however, hahahhaha, but if the smell of smoke is from someone u luv, then it's really doesn't matter:P

I understand that it's frustrating for you because you don't smoke, and that's good, but why is it that non-smokers are not expected to be considerate of smokers? I do agree that people should not smoke in restaurants because other people are trying to eat but smoking does not interfere with anyone's ability to drink in a pub or disco. If you like your friends who smoke and you want to hang out with them in the bar then why can't you be considerate of them? Would you go there if you didn't like to drink or dance or listen to music? Probably not so why is smoking any different?
The myth about second hand smoke is just that, a myth. If it were true there would be non-smokers in their 50's, 60's and up dropping dead from smoking related illnesses at an alarming rate because back when they were growing up more people smoked and more children were exposed to second hand smoke. Most homes did not have the ventilation systems that homes have today and many, many children rode in cars with parents who smoked. I'm one of them, along with my two sisters and my brothers. So, the fact that large masses of people over 50 aren't suffering from these terrible illnesses due to exposure to second hand smoke proves that it's not true. It's a media generated claim by people who are against smoking so you don't have to worry about planning your funeral any time soon.

hahhahah, i've been very considerate to my friends for many years^_^ just that sometimes i will feel uncomfortable when they smoke, i will coughing non-stop, i do hope that they will stop for a while, or walk away & smoke, but they didn't do that, u know what i mean. I love them, but i do hope they can be considerate sometimes.^_^
