I went to Italy a long time ago. We camped with my husband and went from the Riviera to Rome and back.
I can´t say what was more beautiful. And I have been wishing for a long time to go again. But I would like to do it as I did it then: no tours. Just lwetting my feet wander and my eyes see.
From what part of Italy are you?

You're right... many times we take just one week of holidays and we think that in those seven days we must see everithing! and we come back to work more stressed!! If you come in Italy another time search just one place (como is really beautiful) end stop there for 7 days!:D
Riviera is Rimini i think... good place but in italy ther are better places to join the sea;) Rome is a beautiful city but for me is too big...
I borned in the south of Italy in a little village called Valsinni and 2 years ago i come to Bologna for work....

| 3. maximax8 (4830) | 3 months ago |  Yes, I have been to Italy twice. I had my honeymoon in beautiful Venice. I took my older son to the pretty island of Sardinia when he was five years old. He is now 13 years old and he is fascinated by history. He really wants to go to Rome and so I hope to arrange a weekend there this winter. He needs to get a new passport first though so I must arrange that soon. Places I wish to go in Italy are Sorrento, Capri, Sicilly, Florence and Pisa. I think that Italian is a lovely sounding language.

4.  Bugsey (523) | 3 months ago |  Ye. i loved the food a lot. I loved Sorrento w/ the clear underground cave boats... I think it's the best country in Europe. I dod not like Venezia or Ferenzia as much as I loved Sorrento. I also saw Rome, and what I was impressed with was that huge painting on the Basilica ceiling!
