 I'm responding to a thread and I see this banner ad come up. It said parenting.mylot.com. What is this? I followed the ad and it opened up a screen much like mylot, you have to log in and everything, but it is for the most part all our input and posts on parenting. Is this being used as what a blog would be? Is this a new feature?

Anyone else see this? What are your theories for the purpose of this? To me it looks like our members with parenting as an interest or threads we posted are being used as what? Blogs status?

I think that MyLot is using many ways we don't even know about to make money off of our traffic, information and now our words too.
Gotta give them credit, they sure do a good job when it comes to using us.

Maybe they get their own referrals that way. That would explain the increased number in members since the upgrade. Mylot might be getting referrals for their own mylot income. | |

I wouldn't think that an individual person would be allowed to make a banner that pulled mylot discussions into it. I just find it very strange because it is something new and I don't recall receiving a new alert on it. | |

So instead of going all over the place and find one part about blogging on parenting, one on discussions on parenting, etc. they are all putting it on one page to make it easier. And it also shows related topics so we do not have to go all over myLot to make it easier. I am at a loss as to why I have to sign in for it, since I am already signed in to myLot anyway and yet it just leads me to the beginning page of myLot, so I guess that is something that myLot has to fix.

I can't say how many, but I've noticed 10 new members on the members count at the bottom of my screen in the last hour. A few days ago the members here were at 136,000 and something, not is't at 137,256. That's a lot of people compared to new member sign in before. | |
