Do you like to display your child's craft works?????

I am sure you would and believe me it would make them feel great that you are displaying their works of art. My mom still has the hand paint that i did when i was in kinder garten! i dont know what it is exactly called but we put our hands into paint and leave an impression on the paper. I still see the vegetable paints that i had donr when small. And i really like it, coz it makes me feel that my mother cares for me!

Your answer actually made me smile. the thought of what you wrote sunded soooo cute!! I am sure you enjoy your daughters master pieces. I am waiting fro my son to do the same. My mother has preserved most of the works of art that i had made! She even has the hand impression that i had done when i was in kindergarten. I am sure you daughter does abstract art too!!! i do the same till now:)

i havnt started yet as my son is just 1 year old but i would love to as soon as he starts going to pre school. My mom has still preserved my finger painting as well as my hand impression that i had done when i was in kindergarten, i still like to se it and i feel happy. just makes me feel that i was so cared for and treasured!!

All these things must be reminding you of their childhood days and how much they liked to show their love to you. I think when children grow up they stop displaying their love to their parents like they did when they were kids. I dont show my mother the love that i have for here, i dont know why i do that but i would love to tell her that i love her everyday of my life!

Start showing her your love before it's too late. Send little cards or call her more often. When she's gone, you don't want to be feeling bad about not telling her how you feel!

Some people want to do everything before they die and leave nothing undone. My goal is to be able to die with no regrets of how I treated people, leaving nothing unsaid that needs to be said and not wishing I'd paid more attention to someone I loved.

Also, the way you treat your parents is the way your child is going to treat you when he grows up! So start writing, start calling, visit when you can and make your son a part of it. My own sons are usually very attentive and call me every few days, they never say goodbye without telling me they love me and I think it's because of the example I tried to set with their grandparents.

yes it is very important to acknowledge their skills, it make them feel important. Since you are also inclined towards towards crafts you would understand how important one feels when someone likes a peice of work that you have done. As for me i used to feel like the top of the world when mom displayed my works and people appretiated it!

I do understand that you miss the comments from your grand daughter but all of them are stored somewhere safe - in your heart and your head! it sure must be feeling so lovely to remember the love that they all have for you.

All the engouragement must be boosting him so much which inturn will give him a lot of self confidence in the future. I too am waiting from my son to go to pre school and so some master piece for me too!!

Yeah, he's proud of himself! U will get a lot of artwork once he starts school. he'll have fun doing it too!
