Have you ever wished you could live in another country?

No, I can't say that I have ever wished or even thought about living in a different country than the one I am living in now. I love to look at pictures of other places and seem them in movies and on tv but I am not even the kind of person who dreams of traveling to other countries.

I used to think I'd like to emigrate to the West, when I was young.
But somehow, though I had a wonderful chance, I never did so.

Now I am glad I stayed back in my own country, India.
Over the years, I have been able to see the virtues of living in a Developing country, which still has its ancient social values intact, where people are not always in a hurry to earn more and consume more and still never be satisfied with their lives!

I have to necessarily live a life of thrift and suffer certain deprivations (like the fact that we haven't enough electricity for our needs presently), but I'm happy and satisfied all the same.

That's because I never left the soil I grew up in, where Spiritual comfort is given more merit and is considered more desirable than worldy comfort!

Ofcourse I wouldn't expect everybody to agree with this line of thinking, but it's just the way I feel, and I hope you don't mind my having said so!

i dont a ctually dream of living in another country but i want to visit other countries and see all the beautiful places.

I'm a US citizen. I have lived in both Italy and Scotland. I would move back to Scotland in a heartbeat: the country is so beautiful and the people are so kind, warm and fun to be with. I love my country -- but I would move back to Scotland if I could.

i like to live in United State of america because that country is very rich country and there a lot of opportunity in that country there a possible to become rich there here in my country there are no opportunity here? and very poor country is philippines poor to rat?.. happy postings?......

Yes of course! When I was a kid I want to go in the America because I want to experience snow.. But now the first place I want to visit is in Spain and in Hawaii.. Nothing, I just want to visit and see all the countries around the world.. But it will always be a dream..

no, i never have, i'm pretty happy w/the good ol'u.s.a. i don't always agree w/the politicians but i am sure you woud have that wherever you go.
