 i recently was looking to do somthing spontanteous and thought this would be great to do you know to get a new piercing but after going in to the shop and seeing some customers it kinda made me leave lol and i was just wondering how many pierings does the average person have?

| 2. lightningd (730) | 4 weeks ago |  I have my ears pierced twice and my belly button once. I will tell you that the belly button hurt less than the ears!!
The most important thing is to keep the piercing clean and follow the piercer's after-care instructions. That means, don't use ointments or creams, and soak faithfully with the sea salts on the piercing. Wash it and the jewelry with anti-bacterial soap daily. The piercer will tell you how to soak the piercing, but to make it simple, you disolve the sea salts in a plastic cup of warm water, bend down, hold the cup over the belly button to get an air tight seal then straighten up holding the cup against your belly.
I had absolutely no problems with mine. I will say though that when you decide to change jewelry, pick up some ky-jelly or similar and use it to lubricate the new jewelry when you put it in.
But honnest, the belly button piercing was a snap, my recommendation is a ring and not a curved barbell though, as you are less likely to catch your clothing on the closed ring than the bar bell and it will make healing much easier and faster!!

I hadn't thought about lubricating jewelry to put it in. I'm in the process of stretching my ears currently and maybe I'll try that when I put the next size up in next month.

She had tons of piercings, and it was really funny that she was wearing gloves and a surgical mask and had tons of piercings. Other than the piercings all over the people, it looked like a medical establishment where I got pierced.
