 I remember when I was a kid in the late 50's there was a truck that drove around called Mr Softee. It was similar to DQ. The truck had treats already made uo or you could get a cone or a sundae. It is so hot today i would love one. If I drove to the store it would be soupy by the time I got home. There is some time of truck but I usually only see it on Saturdays and it only has the premade packages.

Awww that really sucks. I am from England and we always have an ice-cream van parked at the beach, or a certain play area during the summer but they very rarely come around the streets where people live and stop off for a short while like they used to. We have Mr Softee here too but I think Mr Whippy is more commonly known but they are both the same thing! | |

Only once this summer did I see an ice cream truck on our street. We don't have any little kids in our neighborhood any longer so there are no profits to be made on our street. I use to buy our kids anything they wanted when the guy came around on a daily basis during the summer but this was years ago.
