Does Love remains the same after Marraige

I believe that love needs to be consistent in a relationship. Even more, after getting married. I just believe that the love evolves into something deeper than you have when you are gf/bf. This is because, there is already a commitment to stay together forever, no matter what happens. In the bf/gf relationship you are still on the state of being together all the time so as to be closer. But when you got married, reality sinks in, you need to work and do things separately. Not because you have taken for granted that your partner is yours exclusively, but basically yo have to finance a family which you chooses to start. The trust was more deeper that even though you are apart you still believe that your partner would do what he ought to do.

I think that love still stays after
marriage. If the couples still stay
together in the same house. It only
means one thing that love is still alive.
If the couples are devorcing that means
the love they shared no longer existed.

now back to your question, i do think love can stays after marriage if you are true lovers and true matches. actually, after marriage love contains more feelings, not only attacting each other as before. also including more responsibility and more sharing things, especially after having babies. i believe time can test true lovers.

love remains ............ but sometimes, the flavour goes off! So keep trying to add flavours to it by some different means - surprizes, gifts, unexpected sms/cards.

As long as u keep on expressing it and keep on doing efforts to nurture it, it will go a long way with u (both). and remember, it has to be from both sides!!!!!!!!!!

Count me in. I am married for 3 years now (though not that long yet), but I do believe that love remains the same after marriage. it's just a matter of rebuilding it. Talk about the past as often as possible. Reminiscing how you were with each other before will help you both work out to do the same at present. Do not remove all the sweet gestures you used to do before. Kisses and hugs are a great factor. The surprises, always think of it. Make every occasion special. It's a way of saying that you think of him/her. Just recreate the love revolving the relationship and it will always stay like when you just met each other.

oh, come on, love and romance last forever, that's in the movie and love songs not from reality. i once read from an artical that experts said that love only last for no more than 3 months. people go blind and wild during that period and later on their passion recedes and what binds them together may be responsibility.

Let me tell u the real thing.
Love after marriage is a rare case until their love is true one.
and let me tell u one thing that true lobe are not easy to get these days.
So you know wat i mean to say ya.

The bond changes. It becomes more family oriented and not so much a one on one selfish love. It grows into something bigger, different, and it changes with each day because so many more people are now involved in the life. I think love is more of an action than a feeling.

It is supposed to grow.
A lot of the time it dissipates because the partners don't work at it. But its supposed to grow more and more with time.
That takes work, of course, and we all have to do that or suffer the fate of a dissipating relationship.
Its amazing how people blame all kinds of other things, and people as well, for their own failures.
Work on your relationship and it will grow.
