Do animal have rights?

I believe that animals have rights. We as humans have no problems with developing office complexes, housing, malls, but then some of these structures are where some of out wild life lives. So when a bear appears on someone's porch there is panick. Well that bear used to visit that same spot before you decided to build a house there. we are pushing these animals out, they have nowhere to go, and then there becomes a bear hunt, because now they are in inhabitated areas.
I hate this. Every year in NJ there is a bear hunt, because of the reason I stated above. It is so unfair. Where are these animals supposed to go????????????

I myself do not eat meat and believe that other animals do have the right to not be treated harmfully. But my partner does hunt and eat meat. I think that like a lion or bear that it is natural for them to eat other animals. What makes us different is how we treat them before they are killed and is what is important. Those chickens, cows and pigs that live horrible lives in cages just to be slaughtered is horrible. Let them live free range and not abused like so many are.

Animals are very important for our nurishment to survive. They are also essential to us for companionship. I look at it like this. There are some types of animals that we look to for food and there are others we look to for companionship. As long as we are not abusing the situation by taking what we do not need, it seems resonable to exercise our right to using animals for food but I would never back up humans killing animals just to kill.

I believe that we as people have full domain over the animals, given to us by God. With this we are resposible for treating the animals firly and humanley. Animals feel pain and having pets seem to feel neede and loved by us and if not domesticated by there own kind. This is just my opinion on the subject.

Yes animal do have right and we have no power to torture this beautiful creature. God have create animal for human can gain more food resource but some people manipulate the give from God for his own and cause the existent for some creature been threaten.

I think that animals do have rights,but certain animals like cows and pigs were created to made into food,while other animals like dogs and cats were created to be loyal friends,and turning them into food is wrong in my opinion,that is why I refuse to go to any country or any restaurant that sells the food of a country that eats dogs or cats or any other animal that should not be eaten.

I think animals have the right to be treated fair and not to be tortured. This is why they have laws to protect animals from humans that mistreat them.

In America animals have more rights than citizens, dogs and cats everywhere are freely walking to the polls to vote for who will be the next White house pet. I believe that all animals have rights to live peacefully in their natural environments unless they are delicious.

Of course they do have their rights. As humans it's our responsibility to take care of them although sometimes we have to eat them for us to sustain and continue living. It's the natural law that we eat animals right? but killing them brutally is not really good.

You talk of animal rights when even human rights are no more been respected even by the so call 'great nations' of the world.
