Does Anyone Watch Younger TV Shows?

Oh, I agree about the animated Fox shows, those are definitely more late teens-adult oriented. LOL I'm thinking what you said about the issues and drama they have hit on a lot of the reason I like the shows so much, because it hasn't been that long since I've been that age, and even now, most days I feel like I'm like 14. In most ways I'm younger than most people my age, in personality, interests and even the way I look. So I can definitely see what you are saying about relating to certain shows. Cool! Yea, it is nice to watch something more lighthearted and innocent at times. I know that in my case sometimes the younger shows I can relate to a little more because I don't have the life experience of the people in the older shows I watch, so while I find humor in those things, I can't see myself in those situations. LOL oh cool! Well, I probably would tell people in real life, but they already know me and my young tastes in music, movies and tv! Oh! yea!! I watched Even Stevens as well, and my dad actually used to watch Lizzie McGuire with me, and he didn't have to since I had my own tv, but still sometimes he would have it on the living room tv. haha I am so glad to hear from someone close to my age who watches this stuff! Oh, I definitely don't worry about what people think about it, I like to watch whatever I want.. just wanted to see if anyone else liked to watch this stuff. I just found how much I liked Disney again the other night, I was watching Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen on Disney and I left it on after that went off, and watched some shows. LOL Then last night it was the Lizzie McGuire movie! I own both dvd's, but I love to watch them on tv too. haha Thank you for responding!:)

No problem. I'm just glad to hear about more people close to my age enjoying this stuff, lol. You know I forgot that Hannah Montana was new on Sunday. I completely missed the episode. It will come on again. So what else do you like? We might have a lot in common.

LOL yep! I don't plan on ever "growing up" as far as music, movies and tv goes! LOL It's just always been "me" to be young and like fun things and cute things. I mean, sure, I like some stuff adults like, but not a lot of stuff. OMG.. I was wondering when the new Hannah's were airing! I just started watching it daily a few days ago, so I gotta remember to catch it on Sunday! So I looked on i-tunes and the disney shows are SO expensive! I was in disbelief! I thought my season passes for Grey's Anatomy were expensive, but the disney shows are like twice as much! I would really like to get them though, so I can watch the shows anytime I want!

Well, hmm.. you know what kinda shows like like, and the movies I like are usually about the same types, the last movie I saw in the theatre was Material Girls. Oh, I have found another Disney show I like! Wizards of Waverly Place.. LOL Also, I watched Raven for the first time I think last night, and that was really funny! It's so weird seeing her all grown up! It seems like just yesterday she was the little girl on the cosby show! As far as music, I like a lot of stuff, because it seems like now I'm at a place where I'm not ashamed to admit to liking stuff like I was when I was younger. I like pop, some country(was raised on it, and now I sing it. LOL),punk and metal, but my favorite music is usually pop-punk/screamo/emo. And my favorite bands are Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, The Used, and Mest.. although, I love so many bands, those are my top priorities when it comes to concerts, and I have met the first 3 of them!:) Basically I get into bands and singers easily if I really like what I hear! Oh, and since I got into Disney again, I've found an appreciation for the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, etc. hehe So yea, LOL it's like the older I get, the younger I get! hehe

Oh man, I keep meaning to run by the Disney Channel site to see if there are new episodes coming up, but at least now I know about Hannah, I wanna check on Suite Life also. LOL

Anyway, what else do you like? It sounds like we might have more in common, like you said.. It's just, I'd be here till next week if I listed it all.:D

Hey! aww.. that is so cool! I'm glad to hear that there are people who love these shows. They are very cute. LOL I actually saw a Hannah Montana wig or hair piece before at wal-mart, and thought it was very cute, but that was before I really got into it. LOL Needless to say, if I had a little girl she would be wearing head to toe Hannah Montana, because those clothes are just too cute!

Definitely, when you have children, you watch children's TV shows - the surprising thing is when you find yourself liking them! My son is now 10 so "we've" gone from the shows on Nick Jr to the teen oriented shows like Drake and Josh or the Disney channel sitcoms. And I really like Spongebob, I think it's hilarious and absolutely not just for kids! I will watch Spongebob all by myself, my son doesn't need to turn it on. For that matter, I watch Boomerang a lot, which has old cartoons from when I was a kid (I'm 42.) That's largely a nostalgia thing I guess.

cool, LOL I was actually still watching Barney when I was in like 5th/6th grade. But that was really the only kiddie show besides flinstones and jetsons that I watched as a kid.

aww.. that's so cute! That's like my dad watching Lizzie McGuire with me, but I was more like 17 at the time. haha But it was cool, I think it's great because I could watch it without getting embarrassed like with some other shows. hehe Oh cool, I've seen a commercial for ICarly, but I haven't watched it yet, I actually just got back into Disney Channel last weekend! Before I mostly stuck with The-N, but I really like the variety this has given me, so I may have to branch out to the Nick shows next!

Yep, I like the older sitcoms myself, I grew up on those! LOL I gotta admit, Zack and Cody is one of my favorites now! Just because it's so cute and funny.. and those boys remind me of how my kids would be, if I had any. LOL Also, I remember when Dylan and Cole were on a show as babies, it was called Grace under Fire, and I really liked that.. so it's so neat to see them still doing shows, kinda like the Olsen Twins, but they are boys. Ahh.. cool, yea, I watch SVU and CI occasionally, but my favorite "grown up" show is Grey's Anatomy, but since it's summer and no new shows on I'm kinda finding new stuff I like.:) Anyway, thank you for your response!
