It is supposed to start it coming off really quickly, and then after 3 weeks you just go for a healthy diet. You just eat, one cup of oatmeal a day, and one cup of rice, and all the vegetables you want. Snack on celery and carrots. I have tried it, and had great results. I would eat oatmeal with sweet and low in the morning, and a salad with a little bit of no-fat dressing for lunch. Then for dinner, I would steam a mix of vegetables, like zucchini, yellow squash, cauliflower, etc. and pour it over a cup of rice. I used a little soy sauce, and that zero-calorie butter spray. The butter spray and dressing were not on the list but, I lost quickly, nonetheless. Good luck!

fiona08 (294) | 4 weeks ago | You really won't gain it back if you go ahead with one of the really healthy diets right after, and then watch your portions when you have lost what you need to. I know, easier said than done, but the diet mentioned below, with the Do's and Don'ts lists, would be very good after the jump start. You really wont starve, because you can eat as many vegetables as you want to. You can also eat beans. A mix of beans that you would put in taco soup, for instance. I made this, and even added a can of diced tomatoes. It was really filling. I am being nosey now, I hope you won't mind. How did you meet your Fiance? Will you go there, or will he come to you? Will you marry him during this meeting, or go back to long distance? I am in a long distance relationship too, though we have been together in real life several times. It is tough. I wish you the best of luck.

5. meggan79 (441) | 4 weeks ago | There is no quick way to lose weight. I have found when I eat at least 5-6 times a day I lose more than when I dont eat hardly anything at all. You are going to want to stay away from things like soda and ice cream. As my trainer told me last night, if it comes from the earth it is healthy to eat. Try to slow down on processed food and make wise descisions. Also to burn fat you have to do cardio. If you want to lose it fast try doing 30min to an hour of cardio a day. Also, the more muscle you have the more calories you burn. I would definately add in some strength training. Good luck in losing the weight you want to lose.

I have done it for years, and its the fastest, easiest way that I personally have been able to lose weight. Usually, within the first week or so I lose anywhere from 5-10 lbs. I am sure most of it is water weight, but a loss is a loss. Its easier for me to stick to than low calorie and low fat. I hate to admit it but I am also one of those people who hate to exercise. If I could just incorporate working out with it, then I could really tone up and get more definition in certain areas. I only have about 10-15 lbs to lose but, once again it works for me. I don't do Atkins or South Beach, I have sort of created my own plan so to speak and it has made it very easy for me to stick to. I allow myself one day during the week to eat whatever I want all day... and this way I don't feel deprived and it keeps me from wanting to convert completely back to my old ways. Good luck!

Cut out as much sugar as you can, you will also get a better nights sleep and have more energy during the day. Eat protein after a work out, that helps to burn fat while it feeds your muscles. Eat carb and protein before workout. Your muscles also grow while you sleep, you won't get bigger as long as you follow a good healthy diet. If you can afford a trainer or dietician, get one of those or both if you can. I lost inches and tightened my muscles by eating a lot of tuna and rice mixed together before workouts. Try to find a healthy food like that, keep eating it until your body craves it, you can change your eating habits and loose weight like that too.
