Are cats very dangerous??

over the span of my 18 years of life I have had over 25 cats, both indoor and outdoor(I live on a large piece of property) and none of them have been violent twords me,not even the wild ones. I now have one cat and I spend allot of time with her. She is like my little kid.

I have never found them to be dangerous. They will retract their claws when they're playing and only bring them out if they feel threatened. Perhaps it misunderstood your intentions? Cats are usually only dangerous to mice and other pests!

I do not think cats are dangerous! You can get them declawed and then you will not get scratched. Mine is about to have babies and is a little miserable right now but not mean!

Cats are not as dangerous as dogs^_^ What a cat can do to us is just to scratch us with their claws and that's it, we will only suffer superficial wounds..

UNlike dogs, once they are provoked, they will bite and their bites can be fatal, and rabbies is sure to infect us if we dun get it trated immediately..

But still, i will prefer dogs over cats because they can more fun and playful^_^ And they know their master, as well as who treat them nice and who doesn't^_^

Something must have spooked the little kitty or it may have been abused before and got scared. I have never had a problem with a cat. We have had many, many cats. They all have diffrent personalities and love in diffrent ways. Some can be very skiddish while some so layed back nothing will make them jump, but dangerous. Absolutely not. Right now We have two cats and my dad has 3 cats. At one time we had five cats and four dogs. When I think back that was a bit much but would have never admmitted to it at the time. I have loved all my animals and all are special.

Most cats are not dangerous. The thing one must understand about cats is that they play when they want to play and they are eager to tell you when they have had enough playtime as yours did. But a cat who is given love from a human will return it just as well. We have one house cat and 12 barn cats. We give them all attention as they want it. Whenever we go out to the barn, we stop to give all of those around us some attention. They usually all come running out and if we sit outside by the barn, then they are around us all of the tiime.

cats are more prone to that outburst than dogs, the only problem with pets dogs if they do bite is youll get wounded more severely, ive no problems with our dog on that kind of behaviour, a cats attack is not that severe compare to dogs but not if it has rabies, since cats are prone to that kind of thing you should always vacinnate them first before having them as a pet, same with dogs also, but cats attack their owners more than dogs

I don't think that cats are that dagerous. There can be problems (my cat would scratch or bite me if I played with it wrong). People just need to be careful around animals. If a certain action causes the cat to scratch, try to avoid that particular action.

Cats are only dangerous if you allow yourself to believe it and your fear shows through. Cats are very intuitive and can sense your fear instantly. I have had many cats over the years and none of them has posed a danger to me.
You can make any animal dangerous if you try. Even a gerbil can be dangerous. Just treat them the same gentle way you want them to treat you and they will be loving and sweet with unconditional love.
