Energy drinks for kids

For our daughter she only drinks water. We gave her pedia lite freezer pops when she had food poisoning but other than that just water. As for milk she does not get it at all. Milk is not made to be digested by the human body and is listed as one of the most dangerous foods because of it's long term affects on the body. We give her rice or almond milk with cereal on those occasions. If you switch them out yourself you will notice that your mucus and phlegm will go away. Just a tip:) They also last MUCH longer without going bad!

I dont give my children any energy things. They are too young for that crap. They stick to water and I'll occasionally give them gatoraide. The only thing I add to their milk is Chocolate or Strawberry syrup. My oldest doesnt care for milk and I dont want her to be like me and turn down milk. I havent had milk in over 16 years now. I do still get my calcium though. Other then that, I'm trying to keep my children away from energy drinks.

Energy drinks are bad for kids if you are talking about the kind you can buy at convience stores/gas stations. They do contain alcohol. I was watching a review about it on our local TV news report and they were talking about the alcohol content that they contain. It was totally socking to me. As far as milk, my kids drink milk all the time but, I do believe that there is a time of year to have it and a time of year to avoid it. I believe the other comment is right about it over producing mucus. Why does it because it causes your body to produce more acid therefore producing more mucus thoughout your body. I am not saying that it is bad or to avoid milk. I like to limit the amount that my kids drink of milk. Milk can be Ying or Yang. Depending on the time of year. To put it more simpilar acid or alkaline. I give my kids water, milk, sometimes tea, juice, cola on very rare occasions, and at times kool-aid. If we ever ad anything to milk it is usually chocolate milk mixes but rarely.
