Who was the best JOKER, Jack Nicholson or Heath Legar  |

 I believe Heath Legar is better as joker, because he seems to get into the part more. I have watched both movies several times and Heath puts on a better performance. I cant even see heath, he played the part to good. I wonder if thats because in the other batman movie they showed us jack before the tragic accident. What does everone else think.

I was really amazed how Heath Ledger portrayed the Joker. He set the standards of how the Joker should be portrayed. His actions and movements was so real, its very natural to him to become the Joker. Jack was somewhat a cartoon character type Joker but Heath was a serial killer psycho type of Joker. Heath looks very scary on that movie. His portrayal was that good that the title of the movie should be changed to Joker. I think he deserves an Oscar for that one. I hope he comes back from the dead and do another Batman movie. Overall, Jack was good but Heath was better.

His Joker beat's Jack by far. When Jack did his Joker I thought it was great but now after seeing Heath's Joker, I saw a huge difference in the character portrayal.
Jack's Joker was a clown, not scary at all.
Heath's Joker scared the he11 out of me.

They think he is mad because somebody messed up his makeup.
Are they ready for this Joker, I don't know. Just as I did they are all growing up watching horror movies. Yep the classics from Crystal Lake to Elm Street. Those movies don't phase them.
Now let me break out the Exorcist and they all run for the hills.
I think this Joker would get to them mentally. I say this because most villains are over the top, but this portrayal of the Joker is more realistic as a crazy person than any villain they have seen before.
Whether they see it, I might have to flip a coin.

Heath's joker had too much of johnny dep's moves (pirates) and nicholson's framework.
Jack's joker was an outstanding presence - look at the way he dressed with his crazy arse. Ledger's joker depended on the makeup. There was nothing else about Heath's to remember. (Again - his movements body language was all Johnny Dep.) His philosophy was interesting - almost made me feel sorry for him - he had no plans or control so he said. I think if Heath were alive he wouldn't get as much play as Batman!
