Yes I think those are one of those moments. I had an experience like that before. I was looking at some statues in a show window and I know that my friend was somewhere beside me. I felt the urge to ask something and so I just tapped the persons' shoulder who was beside me. While I tapped I asked the question. Imagine my surprise when the woman turned to me and I saw that it was not my friend! I was embarrassed inside but I just didnt show it and continued to ask the question that I began. I acted as though I really meant to tap the strangers shoulder! Good thing the woman was nice and even offerd to answer the question.LOL! None of my friends even noticed that it was just an accident and they even thought that I knew the woman personally!LOL!

LOL! The stairs thing reminded me of a friends trip and I witnessed it all. He was some steps behind me and when I turned around he was suddenly on his bum literally bouncing from the steps one after the other. Of course, kids were laughing and I did laugh too but only after he was laughing at himself. It was pretty funny. Good thin he was cool with it though and didnt sustain any injuries except for a sore bum. I guess there were lots of experiences during elementary be we were just too young and playful to care.^_^

Uhm...what exactly is an 'air soft gun'? I know what an air gun is but not an 'air soft gun'....care to enlighten me?....in those cases, that incident probably would be a common thing in my high school, not that guns are a common thing there but you'd probably get some attention not because they think you're weird but because they wanna try it out for themselves.

College?..really?..hmm, I guess most people dont care about what the others are doing and are usually left alone...

Fluorescent lamps crashing down on a student during lunch, a head bleeds after stumbling over a classmates bag and hitting a corner of an unfinished concrete post, a pencil through someone's hand during intramural, too young and playful to care indeed.

Well, I guess both can kill when used initially to kill but, air guns have more capability on doing that compared to air soft guns. All I know is that air soft guns can either be loaded with paint balls or plastic pellets, depends to what it is compatible with. Air guns have ammo that are closely similar to real bullet composition. The one I have isn't an air gun since, unlike air soft guns, they are too expensive for a high school student's allowance.

Oooh,, the pencil thing through the hand,..we had that in elementary as well as many trips and falls.

Are you just pertaining to the usual toy pellet guns that stings when you're shot with it?or are 'air soft guns' more complicated than that?

It should be hand with pencil but, some students still find ways to get pencils through their hands.. for some reason or another..

I guess those air soft guns would be closely resemble those toy guns which you described with those plastic pellets while air guns are closely similar with real guns..

Just air soft gun and some of those single action spring powered pellet guns.. though I wouldn't mind getting an air gun... then again, they all seem to be available as riffles and no hand guns around..

hehe, wanted to have my own pellet gun myself but my Mom didnt, if I went against her I wouldnt hear the end of it. good thing I have male cousins

My Dad owns an air gun. Wouldve loved to go hunting with him but like Mom, he doesnt want me near the thing.tsk3 he doesnt hunt anymore though, but he used to let me buy the oxygen for him and we would always cook the birds he caught, for dinner.^_^

Your dad hunts... camps and all that out door stuff or you just happen to have a safari at your backyard? Seems very exciting.. binoculars, outfit that blends with the environment.. does the air gun sound like a real gun or something else?

I remember a show wherein snipers usually made the sign of the cross before they shoot their enemies.. during wars from before.. old school with no scope but just relying on what's on the rifle for aiming.. I don't know if we could also call it as cross hairs..

nah, he just uses his khakis and white shirt. not moving at all and waiting for the bird to perch somewhere near him..dont have a backyard and definitely dont have a safari(wouldve loved one though!^_^) we live in a city but other neighboring towns are not that much developed and are actually farms, he used to hunt in one of those. we visited one area and I saw real ones flying over the car.

like I said they didnt want me near the thing and that applies to my Dads expeditions as well.tsk3 so know way of knowing what sound they make.sorry. i can tell you what sound it makes when hes putting in the oxygen.LOL

Oh darn, this is just one of those moments when I though I wouldve pushed my luck in trying usually guys hobbies out.

On a crowded train, I don't think anyone would have even noticed. I do often wonder what happened when peak hour finished, the train emptied and it became obvious that there was a pair of knickers on the floor. It must have raised a few eyebrows that day!
