People say funny things to kids. Know any funny stories about funny things

MY bf's brother had my bf's 2 girls convinced that there was a man on the moon and that the moon was truely made of cheese. He also convinced them that there was a dead body under his house and when little children misbehaved that person would come back to life and spank them and make them stand in the corner until they could behave. To this day (they are 17 and 21) they still believe that there is a body under his house. I think they have finally concluded that it does not come back to life though..lol

My son came home from school last year and i asked him what he'd had for lunch and he said he'd had " sausage in rice pudding" i thought it was so funny he'd had toad in the hole (sausage in yorkshire pudding)

When I was 9 or 10, my oldest sister and her boyfriend would take me for car rides or to the store or whatever. Every time we drove under a viaduct, his car horn would honk. I would ask him why the horn honked and he would say that "this car's horn automatically honks whenever we go under a viaduct or drive in a tunnel."

I thought that couldn't be right. I would say, "You are honking the horn." He would say, "No I'm not, I'll show you." Then, he'd drive to the closest viaduct and drive with both his hands up and say, "see, I'm not honking it. It's doing it by itself!"

Now, that horn still did honk, but I think he had his elbow on the horn button or something. But I tell you, I so wanted to figure out how he was doing that! Now, they live about a mile away and I told him that story not too long ago. He didn't remember it!!

We lived in a built new 2 story house from the time I was almost 10 until I was almost 20. I soon learned all the creaking floor boards and stairs in the house and could creep around on "cat's paws" at night without disturbing anyone. Anyone meant my father who was like I am, a light sleeper with insomnia.
