Many are suffering.

the people who have the money and power don't seem to notice or care how others are suffering. they are out of touch with struggling people. they are busy with their agendas. they may even think it's our own fault for being in this position. that we should be rich like them. they haven't a clue what we are going thru.

Sadly that is true. We are prisoners of this commodities.
The best alternative is to find ways that free us from this
prison cell. By discovering alternatives and other means
not to depend on them. There's studies made but no support
from the government. I wonder why?

Well here in the US they are promoting the bio-fuels made with corn and soybeans. Which has then caused food prices to go up (they had already went up with the increase in fuel prices). So now, people get double the hurt, and maybe the world should work together to find a solution.

BLAME IT ON, G8 and the WORLD BANK....

These are the ones who set all prices, believe me.

They are not what they say they are,

Look who attends G8 meeting and look at the Country the represent.

We are all doing it hard,

But we know who to blame, well I do anyway.

hi dear very true oil is the main cause for all this inflation..i really wish there could be an alternate way so that all this inflation could be controlled..i hope the Indian government does the wise thing of going ahead with the Nuclear Energy deal with US...it will help us ...i really liked what Rahul Gandhi had said..we always oppose new things but change can also be for the better..it is a ray of hope..have a nice day..

That's really sad. I can't say it's true. I could just speculate that there really are a group of people who has decision on this. Something's definitely not right on how we deal economically. There are already quite a lot of alternative sources of fuel out there but from my standpoint, I don't see the government making any good move to battle the oil prices.

They're not tackling the real reason why the oil prices go up. They bring down taxes a bit and even removed taxes for those who earn at minimum wage. That's good but it's temporary. It really doesn't solve the problem. The gas prices are still high. If only some group would step up and produce more alternative fuel. This would certainly decrease the demand on oil products and will give these oil companies a run for their money. Let's just hope that the people in "control" will not take advantage of it.

We cannot live without it it's sad .Because there are a lot of people suffering whenever these commodity went high.We cannot avoid it because most of our facilities are run by it.As what i have learned the prices should have been lowered because in the market it went down but we all know how our system works the people on top control everything so as the saying goes if you cannot bit them join them.Since we need those commodities we need to join them we don't have a choice as of this moment.

I am definitely with you on this one. The price of fuel has skyrocketed. I wish we could go back to living in small communities where we can walk to everything and it's all close by. Alas, I am sure those days are gone for many of us in the U.S. I plan for my next car to be a hybrid one.

I remember there was a dicussion here, 'If i can not convince someone, then I would get convinced myself', also I remember, a blind man carrying lamp while walking. These two examples denote something. I think, if prices are rising, to remain un-effected by them, we have to control our demands and limit to bare minimum. Reduce lavish living and so on. have a nice time.
