 I love coffee, I can't go one day with it. It's the first thing i think about when I wake up in the morning. I can almost smell it before it's even made. I have to atleast have 3 cups before my day can start. Who else here loves coffee or hates coffee? Do you think there are serious health risks drinking to much coffee? What are you thoughts?

it's the caffeine she has to watch for. If she switched to decaf, would it still work? Is it psychosematic? Atoma therapy? or is she after the caffeine? There is more caffeine in black tea than there is in coffee.

Too much of anything can't be good for ya, in most cases... That being said, I go through few pots of coffee a day... It's been like that since my college years, which is well over 10 years ago... For some reason, coffee doesn't affect my sleeping habbit like it does some people... I found that out from very early on... If anything, it helps me go to sleep... Then there's this article, http://www.healthbolt.net... . Just like anything else, key word here being "moderation"... But then again, for people like you & me, we get our amount of "moderation" by 8 in the morning... lol...

That said, did you know that kids with mild ADHD can be gently medicated with a cup of coffee. It stimulates the brain enough to help calm them. It sounds strange but it works. I have 2 kids who have ADHD and 2 who don't. If I give coffee to all 4, the 2 without ADHD get a little wired, but the 2 who do have it are a bit calmer and easier to keep on-task and concentrating.

I'm just like you.
I drink it black. I need a LARGE amount sometimes. And if someone even brings up the word "decaf," they get slapped silly.
And the numerous studies confirming that it does NOT stunt your growth don't hurt either!;)
But I find that my relationship with coffee has turned into a love/careless.
There are days that after work (I get off at noon - pretty early) I go to my favorite coffeehouse in Houston and have a large mug of Colombian. But there are other times when I just say, screw it, and drink some O.J. in the morning instead.
It's weird.
But, that's life.
Might I recommend some Venezuelan, if you haven't already.
