Hi Jen, I hope you enjoy the site. There are some folks who are here just to earn money but there are also a lot of us who, like you, would come here even if the site didn't pay. The topics are interesting and, for the most part, the discussions are civil and informative.

Welcome.
It is pretty interesting. There are so many interests you can find something to respond to all the time.
When you start discussions make sure you tag. It is easier to find the discussion, plus if you can don't post anything in general discussion. It seems to get lost there. I have heard that from several people. I thought it was my topic but apparently is is just where I put it.
Those are my tips.
Oh, and use more than two or three sentence answers, the more detail the better.

Hi Jen, welcome to mylot! I won't lie about it, when I first joined mylot I was in it for the money. But I can't nor do I want to dedicate that much time on here to make a dollar, so I don't make anywhere near as much as some of the other members. I'm still here 17 months later not because of the money, but because I enjoy this site very much. Though the money is a nice little bonus just for doing something I enjoy, even if it is just pennies a day.

Hmm, tips. Let me see...Add as many interests as you can, start your own discussions as well as respond to others, add people to your friends list, and most importantly have fun!

Hey Jen. Welcome. I hope that you are enjoying your time here so far. I was kind of cautious when I signed up back in April. It might take some time to get used to this site, but maybe not. And I hope that you engage in interesting discussions. I'm here for the interesting discussions and the money, I won't lie. It's always nice to have a little extra cash in your pocket. However, I feel grateful to chat with others who share my interests.

I am here to have fun and meet friends like the reason I join Facebook. It's just a benefit from MyLot that we are being paid for participating. I am enjoying myself here and would stay for good. I'm also posietive that you would feel the same thing... Have fun and happy posting!

I can honestly say that when i first started it was because of the money but once your here it gets really fun talking to everyone. Its great getting opinions and learning new things. I never miss a day of being on here. Hope you enjoy your time here and making new friends. Have fun Posting!!!

welcome to the world of mylot jen. i cant say that i am not here for the money but it is not my priority. the husband of my sister is the one who introduce me with this site and at first i was just looking around but i found it interesting to surf around, give your views and earn at the same time. the earnings i get from here i buy my child a toy (i have a two year old son, pictures appears as my avatar) or sometimes we go out and buy a lot of cookies and ice cream. the tip that i learned form my brother in law about mylot is.... post atleast 4 lines or more and thats were the earnings starts. whether it is starting a discussion or posting a response of commenting if you post atleast 4 lines you will earn easily
