 Do you google everything?
If i can't find it, then google is my number one search engine. I even use it to define words i may not understand if i'm reading a complicated book, or if im writing a complicated one- myself.
What else do you commonly use google for?
For me... its getting links to other sites that may help me with what i'm doing. Maybe medical advice sites when i'm not feeling too well and i want to relieve my symptoms.
So what about you? Are you this GOOGLE freak that wont stop using it... or do you prefer something more professional looking such as ASK.. or Yahoo? If so... what do you most commonly look up?

I use Google quite a lot actually. My friend recently put me onto another search engine that you can paid for your searches which I thought would be really good because I do searches a lot but I coulnd't get on with it all and gave up. I also use google to look up maps and distances, everything really.

| 8. movicont (406) | 4 months ago |  Yep, I pretty much Google all unfamiliar concepts. If at any time things I've never heard of before, my first instinct is to type those words into Google. Since it's relatively good at finding answers, usually I can get what I want on the first page.
Also, I wouldn't say either Ask or Yahoo is more professional than Google. If anything, Google might be more professional than both of them, since it's close to what you'd call "industry-standard". It's got the lion share of most search queries, after all.

But if I'm just looking for the correct spelling or a quick definition of something, I usually go to dicationary.com. They'll have 3 or 4 different dictionaries listed with definitions and I like using that for simple word problems.
