I think as when we boys like someone and we may go ahead for friendship or relationship then why not girls!!!! if she likes someone then they should go one step ahead but first they should wait that other person may take the step, but if he dont's then its your turn girls go ahead and ask her what you want. The world has changed,I have quite a lot friends who are in a relationship where the girl has made the first move and they are happily married too.

This question has been asked several times already in here, but then my answer would be the same. It is perfectly alright to make the move, but you have to know the risk that is accompanied by that move of yours. I think you should always weigh it before making a move towards that. Firstly you should be aware that it is not the traditional way or the way that we used to see girls making the first move. Secondly, you should also be aware that men can easily take advantage of you making the move. You may be abused, or simply used by the men you will be making a move, so be sure that you know the person well enough that she will not abuse or just simply play on your emotions. For us men, we really don't have anything to lose when we chose to be in a relationship but for you girls there are many things you have to consider. I think that is the reason why before it was a taboo for women to make the first move. It is for your own protection.

Again you may very well decide to make the move but be careful in deciding which person you have to do it or else be at your own risks.

I do not think it actuallly matters who makes the first move. A girl can make the first move if she is interested in the other guy.

Ideally, it's supposed to be the guys who make the first move. But at this day and age, what men can do, women can do also. So now making the first move is not just limited to the men. Some guys are so dense that they can't even think of a way to approach someone they like. If the feeling is mutual, I don't see anything wrong with a girl making the first move. There's no harm in trying.
