Are there times that you take things for granted?

very often. it is because i focus my attention on other worldly things. example is God on sundays we are supposed to worship Him and Go to church but there are times when we do things which are worldly and not very important but we tend to put importance on them rather than focus on what is the most important in our life. God should be put first in everything but some things just blind us or often times we are aware of the wrong things that we are doing but refuse to make the move.

I do think that people take things for granted all of the time. I am guilty of this. I believe that we take for granted that the sun will rise everyday and that our loved ones will be there all of the time.
I don't usually like to take advantage of people but I just take for granted that certain instances will happen. On the other hand I don't believe I should take for granted the fact that my son will always be here because I want to cherish him everyday like it was our last.

Yes, there had been many times that I have taken for granted the important people and things in my life. They never taken me for granted. They know how busy I am but I should have given them time. But as I get matured, I can see now the importance of people and time than the earthly things. I appreciate more now, I smile more and laugh more. Take care=)

I try not to take anything for granted. Everything in lie is a gif, and tha's how I want to see it. Opporunities come in the srangest of ways, and I want to enjoy whatever comes my way If the exprience is not an enjoyale one, I'd atleat like to learn somehing from it.

Hi dolce_vita! I am guilty of that too. It was never my intention to take things or people for granted for I never want the same thing to be done to me. However, with so many things in my mind, so many problems that keep on pouring in my life..I do know that there are a lot of things that are being taken for granted and being set aside. I guess, we all need to step back and see where our life is going and weigh again our priorities in life. I need to stop and smell the rose from time to time, I guess.

Thats true!There are many things that i took for granted and i wish i could turn back the times because sometimes it hurts me when i remember it.I could of done something but take it for granted and something happened that i could bring back it anymore and until it hurts me.Sometimes i end up crying just thinking about it.
