based on my experience as a nurse, the etiologic factor or cause that brings about a low blood pressure is a certain condition wherein the body gets dehydrated or lose a lot of fluids. conditions like frequent vomiting and diarrheal episodes, fever also wherein there is insensible water losses, hemorrhage or bleeding profusely, heavy menstruation also, anemia, posture or body's position and also to much stress or strenuous activities.

to prevent it, we should manage first to where the symptoms start.
for vomiting and diarrhea, we need to do fluid and electrolytes replacement. rehydration helps alter the condition. for fever give antifever/ antipyretic medicine to normalize the body's temperature, hemorrhage and bleeding - these conditions are best managed in the hospital in which transfusion can be done. for heavy menses and anemia - one can be prescribed with fluid replacements as well as iron supplements, for postural problems - position your self in the bed with your feet above the level of the heart, and for stress and activity related - try to relax and bring some gatoride or water with you each time you engage with it.
