Today, It's Tuesday, Right? Friday?

When I read, Tuesday, I thought today is really tuesday, Then I read friday and remembered friday.

It happens with everybody I believe. We forget and get confused of the days especially if get involved more with something.

I really dought that it's age b/c I am 21, and last week I thought it was monday all the way to friday.OH NO I did get straighted out on friday, I thought friday was tuesday. Whats really strange about this is i dont remeber the day befor, i dont remeber going to work or what I ate. I was there though, my boss said i came in all week. So i don't know i guess i had an off week! LOL! Don't think your alone in sure it happens to everyone at least now and then.

This drives everyone nuts! I just hung up the phone, talking with a friend who went to pick up a paycheck today, thinking it was Friday.

In the past, I taught all year long. Budget cuts forced me into vacation, since there was no summer school. I've totally lost track of what day it is several times. Naturally, I'm sort of like a Pavlovian dog, moving at the sound of a bell every hour. Without school, I have no schedule for anything. It's funny, except for when I forget to take out the trash and recycling because I don't know what day it is. I would have totally forgotten it again today if my friend hadn't called about not knowing what day it is.

We're not getting older, RJ. We're being perfected as we age like fine wine!

I almost never lose track of the date, because of my calender that I hang next to my bedroom door. Every morning after I get up, I take a pen and cross out yesterday's date, and in the process, am reminded of the current day and date. I think that this system is very efficient and keeps you aware of the world.

I have this problem during the offseason cause i am not going to work my days tend to run together. A few weeks ago I totally lost an entire day. I kept thinking it was Sunday when it was Saturday. I did this all day long. I kept telling everyone I will do it tomorrow cause it is monday and they looked at me like I was losing my mind.

I forget what day of the week it is ALL the time.

Earlier today I thought it was Tuesday.

I sometimes might even forget the month! but that is rare usually

but it does bother me that i forget my days sometimes. I think i forget them though because i don't keep track of them and i don't have a reason too really..

like when i was in school, i knew the days because i would count them down to the weekend and when i had a job i knew the days because i would hating the days i had to work and looking forward to when i was off!

now that i don't have anything... my days just go by me.

well, as soon as i became unemployed
i totally forgot the week, the day and the month!

it has nothing to do with age.
i'm a victim of habit, too.

to make matters much more complex.
i have a part-time job where i work
12 hours one day and midnight shift the
next.

it takes me 2 days to regain my sleep bank.
then, it's been know that i ask people on the phone
what day is it?

maybe i need one of those flashing calendars which
comes up as soon as you go online

When I was working, every day was planned out. I had deadlines and each day was different. Every day after work, I flipped over my calendar to the next day. It was so routine. Then I retired. All that organization retired with me.

For a whole year, I had no idea what day it was. lol It really worried me. My Mom had to tell me when I had appointments. She was worried, too.

When I got over being depressed about retiring, I found that I really didn't care what day it was. If I didn't have an appointment, who cared? The only time I really care what day it is is when I want to see something on TV.

I know today was Thursday. The reason I know it is because I got up early and got dressed. Charter Cable was supposed to come out between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. They didn't. I guess maybe they retired, too, huh? lol

hi rj yep since i have been retired every day seems much'like every other day and I miss the routine and my old job atthe
library, shelving books, now I mylot instead and check my calendar every day so as to know which darned day it
really is. I dont think it has much to do with getting older
just with breaking up ones whole routine. I used to get up at 7 and eat at 8 and get to the library before nine, and we opened at ten.now I get up whenever I please, stay up laten and have a hard time sleeping. of retirementis so much fun, not!!!!.

Yes,specially now that we dont have any calendar..When i am finding what date for today i just get my celphone..Anyway i like the day past so fast coz i want it to be christmas already hehehe..So it good for me if we dont have any calendar:=) .No it not happen to me..
