I posted something on craigslist about a job and a company replyed back ....HELP

It does sound a little on the strange side, asking for a picture. But, one can only hope that he had a good reason for asking, like he wanted to make sure you didn't look like a junkie or something. At least you got a response, and a possible job Good luck!

I wouldn't respond to that. To me, that does sound quite weird. If you can. report his to craigslist. Good luck finding a job!

I would be extremely careful with any job offers etc that you get on the net. You should check out the companies carefully before sending any information etc. You should be able to get information on Google and from the Better business bureau of the city where the company is located. Be carefull there are a lot of scams out there and if they ask for any monies back off quickly.

I think I would have refused as your qualifications for the job should be considered, not necessarily your appearance. If appearance is a key factor for the job, ie. receptionist as first point of contact, it would have been easy enough to set up an interview.
