I am very unsure personally. I always feel that they might tell me things that I don't want to hear. LOL. But why don't you give it a go.

I don't know. I've never really believed in them, but have just been curious. Heck, I view that kind of stuff as story fodder, but I've never afforded it either.

I've never visited one & don't think I ever will. I don't believe in their powers; however, just in case I'm wrong, I don't want to know. I had a teacher in high school that taught us how the palm readers work. They listen close to what you say. They say something generic & you respond with something specific. Then they say something a lil specific & you respond with more specifics. And it continues from there. Since my hubby passed I have thought I'd love to meet James Van Praagh just to see what he would say. When I see the relief & peace that come over people he has assisted, I can't help but want that peace even if he's not real.

Did I put the one up with the ghostly photographer in the window. Great uncle Eric. A professional photographer. But gone in a flash!! Groan. Yep, I have my reservations too. But I remain relatively open minded about such things.

LOL. Not up to much if they throw her out for non-belief. Surely they should have welcomed her in and proved to her that she should convert! I suppose that there may have ben a time delay between the 15th and 16th. Unless she was born at 15.10 or ten past three in old money. Mrs P1ke and I are incompatible too. That explains why we've been married for nearly 22 years but only spoken for one day!! She should be so lucky.

No she was born at 01.45 and has been awkward ever since, there was a 50% change of getting the gender right.

There's no shortage of haunted houses over here and in the US too. I find those shows where all the girls scream and the men yell very false. But I am open minded. We have a house that used to belong to two aunts. My wife doesn't like to be there as she "feels" their spirits. I've been there on my own many times and feel nothing like that at all. Memories yes, but ghosts no. The house is in a wood and quite remote, so that adds atmospherics. I hope that you find someone trustworthy to visit Skinny.

There are tons of places in Europe that I would love to see. There is a place in London that is supposed to be very haunted- it was a debtors prison but I can't remember the name of it. There is a pub now built over it I think. I would love to go to Scotland too and visit the Edinburgh vaults. Maybe one day on my UK ghost tour-:)

I have been to the Edinburgh Vaults. They are spooky but trivialised a little by the students that dress as ghosts and ghouls and also inhabit them after nightfall as part of the tour "experience"! In London I think that you mean the Fleet Prison, or perhaps Marshalsea. But London is stuffed full of ghosts. The school that I went to was a 15th century building with a Victorian clad. The room over one of the dormitories that I was in had no door. But we heard footsteps up there at night! People also claimed that they had seen the "grey lady" looking out of the window too. But then every old building has a grey lady!

I saw those vaults on Ghost Hunters or Most Haunted I can't remember which one. They were totally creeped out and there were no college students in there then. It was very scary to watch but I do want to see it for myself.

Yes there are many genuine people out there but also very many charlatans and it is so easy for them to say I can see someone you are close to in your life with the intital S or J. Probablity says that you do eh! Most popular letters of the alphabet to name people. Also some people just want to believe and therefore the faintest distance truth will become real especially if they have lost someone dear to them. Ellie:D
