do you and your sibling always fight?  | |  i'm 22 years old now, and a professional, i have a sister who is 20 years old, since we are kids, we really never get along with each other, we always argue and fight, until now, she never listens to me, and always push her opinion towards her persepective to other things, and she's like a boarder here in the house, she always go out and acting like she's always busy, that's why my father is angry sometimes because she had no time to help on the chores anymore. when we are still kids, i always tease her, but now we are grown up, and there's no reason for her to act like a baby. sometimes she goes home then sleeps, not doing her responsibilities here in the house. My father always told her, that she was still a student, and she was still depending on the support of the family, that's why she should do her responsibilities as a member of the family.

If you find her too much interfering your life by pushing you to agree with her, you can tell her that you don't like it.
Tell her that you both are grown up people, where a discussion is a discussion, and a discussion means everybody has the same rights to have a different opinion. Your mindset that she's so stubborn and all makes it difficult to have a good conversation with her, because you both use emotions when start any discussion.
As a big sister, you should be able to talk as a more mature person, arguing with her and get too emotional would make you as childish as her. Trust me it wouldn't work at all... I believe you have tried many things to talk to her, but talking is not talking when nobody's listening.

well.. i actually can understand. If you are 20 so I believe she is still a teenager. I am sure it is hard to deal with them when they are still a hot blooded teenager who never listen. But I believe you are more mature than her so you should be able to give her a word or two everyday, or you just leave her alone until she got herself into trouble... it is usually easier to talk to someone when someone did a stupid things that put themselves in a trouble and ask you for help... | |

When we were kids she would lie to mom and dad,telling them that i hit her.And of course I would get in trouble.She has a bad attitude about everything but only the people close to her know.All her friends and people at church think shes an angel.SO yeah we always argue.
I get along with my younger brother though always have.We barely ever argue and when we do were fine in a couple of minutes...

I am 23 myself and fight with my 19 year old brother and 21 year old sister.It is called sibling rivalry,it happens in every family and especially if your the older one, shes grown up as well and is going to tell you things like"you can't tell me what to do,I don't have to listen to you" but you'll always be there for each other when you need a friend. For example my younger sister likes to argue with me that her boyfriend is smarter than everyone else,I laugh at her and she gets huffy over it, so I usually grit my teeth and wait for her to go home or go some where else.
