When is it proper to LET GO?

It is proper to let go of someone you love when
the feelings you had for him is non existent.
Or if he doesn't love you anymore. If both parties
is no longer in love with each other it's better to
let go. So that another chapter of your life begins.

I guess it's proper to let go of that someone when you've already showed him all the love you had. You need to let go when you're hurting too much. If it's already killing you.. let it go.. if the pain is too much to bear.. let it go..

To Let go someone you love is very painful. Especially if the two of you love each other so much. But there are times wherein you need to have sacrifices just to continue your relationship. And you don't want your partner to suffer the consequences of those sacrifices and you need to let go. If you decided to let go of your relationship just because you don't want your partner to suffer. Do it as early as possible. Tell him honestly of your strong decision. Then, never turn back, no matter how it hurts.

Because if you are not strong enough of your decision, it will keep hurting you. At least turning a very strong back. Or standing on your decision will only hurt you once. And do not regret of your decision.

Oh yes, crazy...you can most definitely love someone from afar.
It takes a lot of courage to leave someone you love, especially the love of your life...
I did it, and wholly regret it, but it had to be done, as they were not happy with me in any way.
Now, I can rest assured that I am still crazy in love with them, but they are happy and that makes it all worthwhile.
Love is giving, not greedy.
True love that is...true love will always do the right thing for the other person...sacrifice is necessary in life..one cannot always have their own way.

But going back to your discussion, yes, it is proper to let go. It is the only mature way to handle the better "gifts" that will come your way in the future. You wouldn't be able to appreciate everything that will come without knowing how to let go

I believe that you should always try your best to not let the love of your life go,but I also feel that there is a point in your life that you have to do just that. I am beginning to feel that it is the time in my life that I do that. My husband and I are not getting along right now and he doesn't want to talk about anything. I am tired of feeling that I give a lot more into the relationship than he does and I don't want to do it anymore. I don't think that he is interested in any family life anymore and I am tired of the kids and I being ignored by him.

I think your right! Letting go not because you don't love her or him especially when one doesn't reciprocate your love even though you showed everything that you love he/she. When you think that she or he/doesn't deserve you and someone better then you could give he/she. Love is not perfect all the time. Hurting pains are just a part of knowing love,but wounds do heal and time tell. When the relationship is not growing and learning life together. When you can't tackle or accept each other faults or mistakes. When you feel emptiness even he or she is beside you. When only one is receiving still asking for more. When you can't embrace the pains and the hurts anymore. Have a nice day!

I think the proper time to let go is when you already showed everything for him and yet he never love you back. Or by the time he is happy and contented to the other girl's arms.

Letting go is giving yourself another chance to find another person who can love you back.

you choose to let go when things aren't getting better...when keeping peace needs to be far away from him...when past cant be overcome...its a very painful process but your right..it never means you give up from giving your heart...
