 Just found out that Monopoly will not be coming out next Tuesday. Instead it will come out the following week on September 3rd.

It's a very interesting list! I've never heard of some of the places. The Chance and Community Chest cards sound like fun as well.

I mean nothing against non USA places but I would have expected them to even it out a bit. I figured NYC would be the USA state though, that was a no brainer.. oh well I can't wait to play..thanks for sharing..

 Reesers (696) | 5 months ago | I know it was a vote but you would think other cities from the US would have made it as well. New York is a given but what about Los Angeles or even Orlando? Places that a lot of people know and may have even been to.
It reminds me of the version of Monopoly that came out...was it last year? It may have been but I know there was voting going on for places around the US to make up the board. And when I saw what was picked for Texas, I thought they had to be kidding. Out of all the places, people voted for Texas Stadium?! Not the Alamo or something like that but a football stadium.
I never even heard about the voting for the world edition. I do remember when we voted on what tokens to use for Pogo! LOL

2.  damucci (563) | 5 months ago |  I think this is actually a good thing, my wife suspects that the testing to release it next week wasn't going as well and that it might have been causing problems, which is quite all right by my wife as she would like a little more itme to get further alone with scrabble and everybody wins bingo before they come out with a new game.

I'm working on Everyone Wins Bingo as well. My only problem is that the numbers haven't been kind to me today. I've been working on getting the Lights Out! badge, which is when you reach 25 blackouts. It's hard to do when the numbers aren't being friendly. LOL...I may change rooms if it doesn't improve soon. | |

New York did indeed make it. It's grouped together with London and Sydney to make up the red squares. Other than that, there are no other cities from the US that made it.
About two paragraphs after the list of cities in the article, it talks about the chance and community cards. It's various things like hot a St. Patrick's Day festival in Dublin or other events throughout the world. Maybe we'll see more of the US included in that aspect, like Mardi Gras. | |
