Meet "Yoda"--The Four Earred Kitty

I think Yoda is so adorable. It would never bother me to adopt an animal that had something like that. Another condition some cats get is cerebellar hypoplasia in which a cat's motor skills aren't too keen...they fall a lot their balance is always out of kilter, yet they live normal lives and are without pain..sadly many cats are put down since their owners don't understand the condition ...youtube has a video called This Is Charley..I have it on my profile page...just love that cat!

I too had a cat with six toes! His original name I gave him was Koshka, but wound up being named Footie..LOL...My mother got him at Bide A Wee....he was considered unadoptable due to his "deformity" of six toes..she felt sorry for him and adopted him....he was the sweetest cat around and had him for many years before he went to the Land Of Bast

Well let's face it many people think cats are Satanic to begin with...I'm glad the owners keep him indoors and even went to the trouble to have one of those microchips in his ear...there are unfortunately a lot of sickos that would kidnap Yoda since he's so unusual.

I've read a few of those "The Cat Who.." books. I'm actually reading a book now though that was written around 1967 called Pyewacket..now you know I couldn't resist reading a book with that name

Good thing he has 4 ears if that's what it takes to keep him as an indoor only cat. I think He's adorable. I love that round face.

I also love "The Cat Who" books. I love the midnight Louie series. It's even better than the Quillerian and koko ones.

I used to have a grey cat cat named Mickey..a real sweetie. Ever see that youtube video of "Charley"? It's on my profile page....about a kitty with cerebellar hydroplasia...love that cat too

LOL--I used to have a cat with extra front toes too...he had the sweetest disposition going..originally I gave him the name Koshka but he wound up being called appropriately enough ....Footie..

I named this one Nibbles because he looks like a kitty I used to have by that name. He looks like he is part seal point siamese.

I thought it was about time I did a "cute" story to make up for some of the others I've done that are so serious. I would love a kitty like this...LOL

It's not cerebellar hypoplasia, is it? When a cat's motor skills are wobbly? It's a fairly common condition and many people don't understand it and unfortunately a lot of cats are put down because of it needlessly...cats like this live regular lives and are in no pain..they just, uh, wobble

Could very well be. I know his head shook and he walked like he had tape on his feet. He missed the litter box a lot so hubby booted him outside. He couldn't keep himself clean enough and I think he died of worms and the other cats were mean to him because he was different.

I was so mad! Shakes (that was his name) was even tempered, lovable, he just needed alittle help. His motor skills were all off and he was beat on by the outside cats. He'd run away for days and come back all sick looking and starved. I'd give him a bath, feed him and get him put down for the night all to find my husband would boot him out the next morning.

It was a vicious cycle, I wanted to string the old man up by his toes and beat him.

Glad you saw that story too...did you watch it on World News Now? That's on rather late but I'm still usually up...---yup those extra ears do look like horns...LOL. What great folks to adopt him, no?
Aww shame about your two nosed.mouthed kitty... I even saw a Youtube video of a cat born with two extra legs! Haven't heard any updates but the owners were going to get the cat operated on to remove them

No - can't remember where I saw it, but it was online. I rarely watch television. But, he's so cute - like he's got ears from two different kinds of animal.

Usually animals with 2 mouths side by side etc., are Siamese twins. Their bodies share everything but the mouths and noses. That kind of Siamese twin just doesn't make it.
