 OMG. Here it is again- another cold sore. I hate them so much!  No matter what i try I can't seem to keep from getting them and it takes weeks for them to go away. What can I do? Does anybody know anything that is fairly cheap and can help me prevent cold sores and make the ones I already have go away? Please I need some help. I can't stand to have them any more. Thanks for your help.

She told me that if you get some L-lysine (I think that is the way it is spelled) and take some of it when you feel one coming on then it will make it not get as bad and will help it go away sooner. I dont know if you have tried that but I have a few times and it does help.
