I would tell them that whatever they do, they should be honest, kind, and generous. I believe that what goes around, comes around, and when we treat people right we will be blessed in return.

I told my kids pretty much the same thing as they were growing up. My goal was to teach them that whatever they wanted to accomplish in their lives was/is a real possibility. I wanted them to have the confidence in themselves to achieve their own goals. I wanted them to know that the world did not revolve around them, but someday, a small part of it might. All in all, I wanted them to be happy, well rounded, well adjusted, productive members of society, and yet maintain their own individuality. I feel I gave them the tools they needed, even though it took one of them a while to pick the tools up and use them*S*

I am a mother of one and I work my butt off too. I work online and around the home and outside too. I also help people who need my help too. I have a 16 year old daughter and I try to prepare her for the real world also but she seems to not be interested. I would advise her to stay strong and never give up on her hopes and dreams and make sure to work hard because nothing comes easy. Everything is possible if you focus on achieving the goals.

i don't have children but i played the role of a mother to my siblings...one is gone and i still got one left...in here, going to college doesn't necessarily means they leave home..they just go to school during school hours and be back home as schools here are near...as though, still i give out a piece of advice to her..i always tell her " your a big girl now..you know how to separate good thing to bad things"...she loves to go out party at night thats why i always tell her that...just maybe she get her self into trouble she will think twice before doing so...she always get what i mean..

I would tell my daughter to believe in herself, and do her best. She can do anything that she wants to do.

mothers never harm their kids unless they dont care. So whatever you tink best for your kids do it for them and tell them always you loved them and you are trying hard to rasie them good so whatever you say to them you will hope will understand and respest your decision as a mother to them.goodluck

You are a very responsible mom. My daughter just entered college last June...our classes here start at June and ends on March...this is what I have been telling my kids for a long time and I repeated this to my daughter, and I will be repeating it again and again until they finish their studies:

You only have two roles in life at the moment because we are supporting you. These roles are
1. to have fun and 2. to study hard.
You have been doing role 1. We expect you to do role 2 too. everything else's we give to you.

i don't have a child yet... but i can still remember what my parents tell me to fight in this world... never depend on other people... do unto others what you want others do to you... be honest and hardworking... never give up... take care and have a nice day...
