IELTS band score.....Do you know how it is distributed?

I am sitting for IELTS exam on 6th of next month. But still i am not sure how it is distributed. There is no score range i found. Not even in internet.

I only know that if you can achive 12 points on reading or listening then you get band score of 5. This is a score i don't want to know. I want to know the scores above this.

There are around 40 questions & i need to know it all that how scores are distributed.

So please if you know something then tell me. Also if you have any suggestions regarding IELTS then tell me.

hello friend.best of luck for your IELTS test.hope you will get great band.i think noone know,that how the scores are distributed.this is the secret.all are just assuming,noone have exact idea that how they distribute the score.yes you are right,there are around 40 questions.i heard from some,some says that IELTS is really tough,some says that it is easy. ~~happy mylotting, happy earning and happy learning. keep posting.~~have a great day from vehla-jatt~~
